Scout walked down the sidewalk, ears plugged with her ipod. She really had no idea what she was listening to, it was just another thing that she had downloaded off her brother's account. Scout wasn't walking to fast nor to slow, just a in between. No one would want to walk that slow, it would take to long. But not to fast or you would be there immediately. It was just that sort of day to just walk like that.
Scout was in a yellow graphic tee that said ORC: originally really cool and gray short shorts. For shoes, she had her practically to formilular red Converse with baby blue lases that were connected with tape. Both shoes where plastered with dirt that Scout never really cared about what they looked like. Some people really liked them but others said it was horrible.
Finally, Scout pushed open the doors to the mall. The entire place was packed with preppy little preps trying to find the next Hollister store. There where a few people that were something like forty sipping on some coffee tapping at there computer trying to finish the latest project for there company.
Scout crossed the hall to the Starbucks, kicking over people not noticing that she was there. It was nice how the Starbucks was almost compleatly empty. Just a few people where there. Some where on there laptops others just chatting with friends.
Scout walked up to the desk and asked the lady, Hey can I have a mocha frap? Paying she moved over to the waiting line, for her name to be called.

--------------------------------------------------well hey, hey baby it's never too late, pretty soon youwon't remember a thing. and i'll be distant as starsreminiscing, your heart's been wasted on me.----------------------------------------------------------------- Kendall awoke from her slumber a minute before her alarm sounded…as always. As she swung her legs off the bed her palm connected with the off button conveniently placed on the top of the clock. Instinctively both arms rose above Kendall’s head into a lazy stretch and a last minute yawn escaped past her lips. Today was a fairly sunny day, the weak rays struggling to burst through the barricades of her curtains. Kendall hopped off the tiny bed that she had spontaneously covered with magazine clippings one day. However, the bed did not look out of place centered in the freshman’s room. Everywhere around her creative projects lay astray. There was the painted mural on the left wall, the homemade chandelier made of brightly colored ribbons and bows and the lyric laden dresser to the far right. Smacked between all those creations was a closet that appeared as if a rainbow exploded in it. It was here that Kendall started her day. Despite the countless articles of clothing that hung carelessly from their hangers Kendall felt that a shopping day was needed. So with her mission for the day addressed she selected some brightly colored skinny jeans and a graphic tee with “Pow!” printed across the chest. To accompany her outfit Kendall adorned herself with tiny accessories, all following the color palette of her apparel. The more she readied herself for the trip to the mall the more impatient she got. So with a swipe of a brush through her hair, a bobby pin applied and her make-up hastily established she hurried her way out the door.
Unfortunately, Kendall was too young to acquire a driver’s license and was therefore forced to walk the few blocks to her beloved destination. With a slight frown clouding her expression she took her first step towards Austin, Texas’ finest mall. As she continued to put one foot in front of the other she slowly came to the realization that she had forgotten two of the most important things in her world. Her phone and her I-pod. Her steps faltered and her body swiveled to glance at her already traveled path, contemplating whether she should go fetch them. Boredom was her worst enemy…but wasted time was a close second. She decided against it and continued her way down the empty street. As a substitute for her absent I-pod she began to hum a tune, the sound sweetly dispersing into the air. The frown she had been carrying upturned into a grin as she began to hum louder…louder…louder! Until she was practically singing at the top of her lungs. Any unlucky spectator would rightfully deduce that she was insane. She was about to strike another verse when her words were caught in the back of her mouth. She was here at the mall. Energetically she barreled through the door and started her way towards her favorite clothing store when a delicious aroma filled her nostrils. Coffee. She could only handle decaf of course; the combination of sugar and caffeine would probably kill her. Her track immediately channeled to the small Starbuck’s shop on the side.
Inside it was practically as quiet as a library, irritating Kendall right away. But the sweet smell of caramel and sugar kept her mind fixated on the beverage in the making on the counter in front of her.
“Hey!” She practically shouted at the employee. “What is that?” With her question asked she jabbed her pointer finger at the cup of goodness. “It’s a mocha frappuccino…” the worker glared. Taken aback by the girl’s hostile behavior Kendall mumbled under her breath, “I was just asking…sheesh.” Kendall spotted a girl waiting quietly by the counter. To Kendall quiet= unoccupied so with that she approached her. “What’s your name!? You seem bored, are you getting a mocha what’chamacallit? They seem pretty good. I think I might get one. But can you get one without caffeine? Cuz’ I can’t drink caffeine, it makes me feel all jittery and crazy. You know what I mean? Well, probably not because you are getting one with caffeine. But hey, my name is Kendall. Haha that was rude of me to ask you for your name and not tell you mine.” ----------------------------------------------------------------- scout nicole archer. word count 705 outifit clickie. lyrics decoy - paramore banner ___ at CAUTION 2.0 template FASHION STATEMENT SUICIDE at CAUTION 2.0 notes mind if i join? :] [/ul]

I'm Scout. she said. Scout hated telling people her real name, Samantha. It was the name for some freaked up prep who worked at a bank. At first Scout had shortened it to Sam but then when she was in Alec's band, the changed it again. The name made her sound like that girl from To Kill a Mocking Bird. Jean Louise didn't translate into Scout but the girl was a crazy ton-boy anyway.
This girl, Kendall was it, was asking questions by the second. Yeah I'm getting a mocha frap. I think they are one of the best coffees for summer. People said that Scout was an addict to about anything that happened to be a mocha. Weather it was in the winter or the summer it didn't matter. From Micky D's or Starbucks. They tasted about the same. Though some critics would say something else.
It actually did seem like about everyone had some problem with caffeine. Amazingly, Scout never did. It had about as much as of a effect as drinking some water. Zero jitters what-so-ever. It sometimes bothered Scout that everyone else was jetting a small high off of coffee and she got what a geezer got when they tried some Coke.
I don't have any idea if it comes caffeine free. she said I never get it. Scout thought about everything more or less diet was gross. It never really tasted the same. Especially pop. Diet Coke tasted more like something around waterd down Pepsi. It was supposedly more healthy but Scout didn't care.
